These days

Nothing too exciting is going on around here other than my sisters wedding coming up next friday. So my mother is going crazy but that's a completely different household :-) Taylor is growing like a weed! I tell people how old he is and they looked shocked at how big he is for his age.  He's eating some baby food now. So far he only likes the sweet stuff . We tried green beans today and he acted like he was gonna barf his guts up. I also think he is trying to teethe he slobbers and knaws all the time. We let him knaw on a frozen waffle the other night. He was in heaven! I am really enjoying staying at home with him! If I could find a house to clean that might be nice so if you all know if anyone around my area let me know!  Summer is on the way and that means revival prep. Im thinking about starting early but who am I kidding lol I may just surprise myself though! Mine and Jeds 3 year anniversary is Tuesday.  It seems alot longer than that though ! It's been good so far and I look forward to many more anniversaries with him! And im hoping I get a good meal out of it. Im thinking ichiban! If any of you see jed out and about feel free to drop a hint ;-) that just goes to show you I am a true fatty. Forget the present just give me some food! Im afraid the laundry won't fold itself and the floors probably wont mop on their own either so I better say goodbye! Hope everyones day turns out fabulous!

i wish i had something really cool to type about but sadly, i dont. I just felt the urge to blog. I do have a funny story to tell. today i was going to water the poor pitiful plants because i always forget to water them (today was an exception). I watered my palm plant then headed over to my hanging fern. i thought i saw some twig looking things inside but just figured it was part of the plant. I poured the water in and out flew a bird. It scared me so bad. Im sure everyone that lives in the community heard me scream. When i called jed to tell him about it he said "yea it flew out on me last night". Im like why didnt you tell me?!? anywho we are all doing well. staying busy with singings and shin digs. Im loving being a stay at home mom. I was born to do this lol It has its up and downs but its the most rewarding thing ever. He is growing like a weed and is so fat now. he is starting to get a personality. When hes mad he gets as stiff as a board and you cant hardly bend him. He loves it when jed talks to him. He loves sesame street and bathtime and to get his diaper changed. He is going on 4 months and when i hear of these people having babies it makes me depressed at how much mine has grown. I know its a good thing and that its supposed to happen but its still sad. thats the only thing i dont like about it. how fast it flies by. I just want to soak all this in and remeber all of it because i know ill really miss it one of these days. He sleeps right in between me and jed. most of the time its jeds doings but sometimes its me too. jed always says "hes only gonna be this little once" and thats absolutely true. sad but true. anywho i think i got my blogging fix for now!

ok so this isnt his three month picture obviously its more like his one month pic but yall havent seen them yet so here are some!

ok so my little man is three months old now :-( he had his first easter and he looked so cute! ill have a pic post soon so you can see. alot of them are from my cell. i had great plans of using my very nice camera for an easter family pic and had someone to come take it and my camera was dead. yep thats how it goes around here. I got to quit my job and become a stay at home mommy and im so happy! thats what i had been praying for and i am so enjoying it! Life is going so well. we have been getting reeady for raes wedding and all the festivities so it keeps everyone busy. singign season has kept us busy when nothing else has! Taylor did his first trick yesterday... he rolled over from his belly to his back. hes growing up way too fast! its quite depressing. we had a family vacation over spring break. To the beach we went! it was so nice and very much needed. sorry no pics yet maybe later. i hope everyone had a wonderful easter! I know we all did!

march madness

hey howdy hey! we have been super busy here at the sims household! i am now a proud stay at home mom, im also babysitting my almost 3 year old niece. Needless to say my hands are full! Virtue is back in full swing! we have our cds in now so if you would like one let me know. They are only $15. Taylor is growing like a weed. Its so sad he has gotten chubby on me and is so long! i brought home a tiny little baby and now hes turned into a piglet :-) he will be 11 weeks old friday. we are goign on our first vacation to the beach this weekend and im so excited. jed may be more excited than i am. Probably because he doesnt have to pack like we're moving lol. Life is great as a mom and for someone who doesnt deal with change well, i feel like im doing really good! Surprisingly this is all i can think of for now but im sure there will be more!

They call me mom

Wow time flies when your having fun I guess! We had a great christmas and new years and then there was my birthday which went well. That day I had my weekly visit to my ob. I was hoping I would be induced soon well sure enough I was dilated to a 2 when I got there! All that walking worked lol.  He gave me the choice between friday or Monday so jed and I chose friday.  Talk about reality setting in! I then became a nervous wreck! We got to the hospital friday morning and before they even induced me I was at a 4! So then it all started.  I think I got my epidural when I was at a 6. ( I don't see how anyone could do it without one) I really surprised everyone with how fast I went. We started at 6 am and I had him at 1:25 pm! They were all thinking maybe 3:00 pm lol. Jed did wonderful through the delivery he thought he wasn't gonna make it at first but he pulled through and did a great job and he was such a help to me. It was the best thing in the world when they laid that little boy in my arms and I looked down at that puffy red little face! It was weird too, knowing that he was mine and I was responsible for him! But great nonetheless ;-) it is wonderful being a mom I count myself so lucky to have such a healthy child. God has truly blessed my life now and just in this one month he has already helped the little fella and looked at him :-) he's also helped me and rlly increased my faith! We are doing great! He is a good baby and is a snuggle bug :-)  oh and on another note..... virtues new cd, "glory to his name" will be out soon hopefully by the end of the month! They will be $15. And yes to answer your question, "searchin" is on the cd.lol Anyhow I know yall dont wanna hear me ramble on and on so here are some pics!

Big Changes

Hello all! i hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving, Christmas and new year! I had a virus over thanksgiving so that wasn't that good. being sick and pregnant is no fun. But we had a marvelous Christmas and new years! I am now 38 weeks and 4 days along and i went to the Dr. today to find out that i am being induced this Friday morning at 6am! I am an emotional ball of nerves I'm excited nervous scared and happy all together! its strange to think that ill finally be able to see him after all this time. It really did fly by! I am ready to get it over with though and I'm really going to enjoy this break from work! No more for me until February! I also turned 21 today. After my appointment that Jed my mom grandma aunt and dad attended we all went to little Rosie's and then us girls headed to all about baby. I love that store. Mom got Taylor a cute striped gown, my gran got him a bib with a "T" embroidered on it i got him another bib and aunt Tammy bought him an outfit and got me a kalencom paci pod to go with my diaper bag. I also got a Gigi's cupcake! I had an awesome day and i will try to post pictures of my little Taylor on here as soon as i can!

Where are you christmas?

Why cannot I not get into the christmas spirit!? Maybe because everyone rushes it so much walmart was playing christmas music at the beginning of november sheesh! Anyhow I got my tree decorated and have been doing some crafting ans turns out my baby sis is crafty too! She made me an awesome santa necklace that im so pumped about wearing to the christmas play this weekend! Jeds work of art,  the choir, is Sunday and he is so stressed but he's done great and I think it will be a hit! We go Saturday to Shannon byrds studio to have our cd cover photo made. Maybe he can make look like I don't have a basketball under my shirt. I only have about 5 more weeks to go till Taylor Harrison Sims makes his debut and im so very excited to meet the little booger! I hope everyone has a marvelous weekend. I will spend mine running around like a chicken with it's head cut off as always!
