Happy fathers day!

We have been keeping things busy here at the sims house. We have went to revivals, cleaned out closets, andof course worked. We as in virtue haven't had any singings in a while due to revivals and all but we did go to one at claysville last night(jed had to play the drums for a group). Call me crazy but im ready for the singing rush to start back up. I love going! Hopefully that wont change after i have this baby but im thinking it probably will. Today im 10 weeks along and getting fatter by the minutes. Yes already!  Probably due to the fact that i feed my face everychance i get! This is our regular weekend out at the branch but im thinking our crowd will be slim due to revivals and fathers day. Speaking of farthers day id like to wish my daddy one! He's such a good daddy! He's really smart and is patient probably too patient. He's somewhat of a procrastinator lol but that's just him. He always told me that im not another mans doorstep so don't let him walk all over you lol so i don't lol :-) he's been so good to all of us and has worked so hard to be where he's at today! I always had what i needed thanks to him! Love you daddy! Also happy fathers day to a wonderful future daddy...... my husband jed! I know he's gonna do great! He works hard and goes to school and comes home to me evryday so you know he deals with alot lol!

Baby update and more!

Let me start off by whining a little. Morning sickness is terrible. I would also like to thank the good lord for zofran. Without it i would be helpless.  Anywho i went to the doc the 23 of may to get the due date and to get another ultrasound done. I am now 7 weeks and baby sims is due January 14! Im so excited and i know jed is too. He really wants a boy but i know he'll be just as excited if we wound up with a girl... it might have to grow on him but sooner or later he'll be excited. Good things have happened since i have blogged last. my best friend and cousin lizzy,who moved away when we were young has moved back into town! Im so ecstatic and so glad to have her back! We had our annual singing on the lake Saturday night and it went really well. I always enjoy it. Sunday jed and i had our 2 year anniversary. We spent it with friends of course and had a good (but slow) dinner at o charlies. Monday we had a labor day cook out at my parents house and had an awesome time. I stuffed my face i lounged in the kiddie pool and i relaxed! It has been such a good weekend. Today has been ok. I just feel like i could go into hibernation and not wake up till it's time for the baby to be born! So tiring!  Anywho i hope everyone has a good "short" week!  Much love!

Long time coming

Goodness gracious! I feel like i have abandoned my poor blog! I just found this morning an app that let's me blog from my phone! I was super pumped :-) anywho a whole lot has gone on since i last got on here. Ill work my way up till today i guess.  This could take a while!  First off right after the storms,the next day virtue(most of us) headed to crown point indiana for a singing up there. We had a blast and everyone was so nice and fun! We went to chicago, had a bonfire at the church, shopping, the singing of course and church!
Then we come back to no power that sunday night....we stayed at moms who got it the next day. We actually stayed there for almost a week. After all was said and done we were without it for 9 days. It finally came back on saturday where i got some really big news...... me and jed are having a baby! Im so excited!  The next day was mothers day and we went to church. Momwanted me to tell several people my news ( she was pumped). Outside i was walking to the vehicle, i loose my footing and wham!  On the ground i go! Of course people made a big deal because they knew my "condition". It was so very embarassing.
I went to the dr. Mon. And im still early maybe 5 weeks now and i had an ultrasound done.... its just a little black.dot in the pic but its growing fast!
Its just been so busy here lately and of course im tired all the time so that's my excuse. Some of my good friends are graduating tonight but im not going. It will be hot and the bleachers will kill my back! I know im being a baby. But im so proud of them especially hilary she is the valedictorian of her class. I knew she could do it! She's so smart ! I know shell go far! Love you hil ! Oh and for all of you non rocky branchers the singing on the lake is on sat. Night may 28. Hope to see you all there!

Weekend Wrap-Up

I know, i know! its wednesday its almost the weekend again! but i dont have internet access at home just on my droid and for some odd reason it wont let me update my blog. So here! your getting this a few days late(not that its interesting ). Friday evening we didnt do anything. yep thats right no singing, no hanging with friends. Just me jed and the dog. Jed worked on a website that hes been designing and then later we watched the newest harry potter movie, which was awesome! well what i saw was. I have a tendancy to fall asleep during our evening movie watching. Saturday wasnt that busy either we hung around my moms for a good bit while jed once again worked on the website. It was third weekend so we headed to church that night and it was a really good service! brother pat coffey was there and he rocked. i just wanted to sit there and be a sponge and just absorb everything he was saying. Later we went to moms neighbors house for chili, brunswick stew and good desserts(yes it was delicious). and then we all know how a regular weekend sunday morning goes. i went and watched my aunt coupon to see if i can get the hang of it and i think i can! yay me! i cant wait to really learn it well. The weekend ended with the normal friends coming to our crib to eat and watch movies before we all go back to the grindstone. This week has thankfully went by fast which is surprising considering im off friday. ( I know! Im so excited!) Both my monday night and tuesday night consistd of me going to scentsy parties with mom to help her take orders and such. If you want any scentsy or want to have a party let me know my mom can hook you up! now its a church night so that probably means i should get off of here and go to my own house and get ready. Earlier i mentioned that jed has been working on a website he designed. I had a great weekend and its been a great week and i hope the same for all of you!

Newbie

Ok. Here goes nothing! Im totally new at this but i love reading other peoples blogs so i thought that i might would make one of my own. (Not that any of you are interested in what my day consists of or what im thinking about!). Just some facts so you all can know what im all about. I am 20 years old. I have been married for almost 2 years. I have had the good holyghost for nearly 6 years. I graduated one friday night then the next friday night i got married (yes my mother was a nervous wreck haha!) speaking of mother i am a big mommas girl. I work as a receptionist at a local daycare/preschool. i want 2 kids when the time is right. we have a golden retriever that lives inside but i would really like for him to live outside. i love to read, travel go grocery shopping, eat out, hang out with friends and family, go to church, my husband and i sing in a gospel group called "Virtue" with our friends andrea and michael. I LoVe LoVe it!!! its so much fun! God has really blessed my life in so many ways! He works everything out just right and I wouldnt have it any other way!!
